More than 50 unaccompanied child asylum seekers who vanished soon after coming the UK and while in the care of government agencies are yet to be found, as per information obtained.

Official Data Indicates Concerning Statistics

Publicly available information has recorded 345 children going missing from the region, with 56 of those yet to be located.

Agencies also guide children to processes and services to help manage the risk of abuse in the UK, encompassing the government assessment process and the Independent Child Trafficking Guardian Service. "Even then it is difficult to prevent each youth from going missing."
